Our Mission
Mission Statement
The mission of the Friends of St. Stanislaus Foundation (Fundacja Przyjaciół Św. Stanisława) is to raise funds for the care and maintenance of St. Stanislaus Church of Rochester, New York, as well as to preserve, enrich, and celebrate Polish heritage and culture. The church is a historic local landmark, the spiritual heart of Rochester’s Polish community, and Rochester Polonia’s most distinctive and recognizable structure. In addition to supporting the care of the church, we are committed to supporting projects and endeavors that advance understanding of Polish heritage and culture.
About Us
The Friends of St. Stanislaus Foundation was established in 2004 at the close of St. Stanislaus Parish’s Restoration Campaign, a five-year fundraising effort that made possible extensive repairs to the parish’s historic church. The successful, highly visible campaign drew generous donations from people around the country with connections to Rochester’s Polish community. Inspired by this loyalty, the Foundation continues to reach out to those who hold a place in their hearts for St. Stanislaus Church. The funds we raise support the ongoing care of this beautiful structure, as well as projects that celebrate Polish heritage and culture.
The Friends of St. Stanislaus Foundation is not part of St. Stanislaus Parish. We are a separate organization with 501 (c) (3) charitable status.
The Friends of St. Stanislaus Foundation — a private, not-for-profit corporation with 501(c)(3) status — is not part of St. Stanislaus Parish. It is a separate organization formed to provide financial support for the ongoing work of maintaining the church.
